Variegated Fritillary (Euptoieta claudia)	Gulf Fritillary (Agraulis vanillae)

Two species of fritillary are frequently seen at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center. The variegated fritillary is by far the most common. Both species are avid flower visitors and can be seen most often along the roadside and in the botanical gardens.
