In 2008, the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute was recognized by the Texas Education Agency as a Continuing Professional Education Provider for the State of Texas. This allows us to offer special workshops for teachers as well as allow teachers to earn CPE credits while participating in our Life Long Learning Program workshops.
