Auction 2010
Each year, generous donors give us fine art, jewelry, textiles, furniture, vacation trips, and much more to auction off during our annual benefit auction. All of the proceeds from this event are used to support the programs and operating expenses of the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute and the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center.
Take a look below for a sneak peak at a few of the donations we’ve received so far. Click on the image to enlarge the photograph.
If you see something you can’t live without–but you can’t be at the live auction on September 18–be sure to fill out an absentee bidder form and we’ll assign a personal bidder to represent you at the auction. Your representative will bid up to the amount that you specify on the form. If you’re the top bidder, we’ll charge the final bid price (+$15.00 shipping) to your credit card and mail the item to you. Some items are too large to ship and are for local pickup only.

The bureau is of burled walnut with a solid top, original hardware, and dovetailed drawer boxes. It has a few dings and chips, but looks good otherwise.
